HealthWatch, a 30-minute news program devoted entirely to health and medical issues, began production in 2001 and airs on the Voice Of America (VOA) Television Network. VOA is the television division of the International Broadcasting Bureau, the largest international broadcasting service in the world. Through VOA, HealthWatch is aired in more than 1800 markets in over 130 countries throughout the world reaching well over 300 million homes. It has a weekly estimated audience in excess of 10 million viewers. The program is translated into more than 5 languages, including Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Urdu(India/Pakistan) and Armenian. 

HealthWatch focuses on a wide range of health-related topics including; breakthrough medical treatments, new drug releases, social and psychological issues, child-rearing, nutrition, public health concerns and other health and medical subjects.
