AppWatch Review
According to the US Travel Association, nearly 2.1 billion person-trips were taken by Americans in 2013. Those travelers spent over 163 billion dollars in hotel rooms. If you’re someone who has an upcoming trip that sends you to a hotel, check out a cool new social network that just hit the iOS and Android app stores called HelloTel.
With the app, you turn your hotel check-in into a chance to network and meet other travelers. How does it work? Well, you sign in with Facebook, which is important because it ensures you meet real people, then after you create your profile, you check into the hotel and identify if you’re there for business or leisure. You can then post on the news feed and give kudos, which is their version of a “like”, or comment, and start connecting with fellow travelers. For networking purposes, you can see who is staying at your hotel for business or leisure and even check out their profile to see if there is a business opportunity or shared interest.
There are a ton of other interesting features in the app. To join and meet people on the road, head to your app store and search "HelloTel" or visit www.HelloTelApp.com today.
