AppWatch Review

Sportlobster is an iOS app I recently came across that's taken a page out of Facebook's UI and created a forum dedicated solely to sports. With it you can create an arena filled with blogs, fans, and information on the teams, players, leagues, and sports you care about.

You and other users can create blogs and follow fan and celebrity bloggers as you build a network of likeminded fans and friends. You can also make predictions on games and win bragging rights and prizes dependent on the result. And obviously, with all sports, you can engage in a bit of friendly trash talking with other users and receive push notifications when others comment on your posts. It's a great app for fans of any sport, whether you're into the NFL, Soccer, or the NHL, they've got a thriving community for you. It's free and available for iOS devices but if you don't have one, you can always use their web app.
