The Kick - Portable Light Source | NewsWatch Review

Tech Product Review
Introducing The Kick. It’s a portable, app enabled, multi-colored, and multi-function light source for taking pictures or video. Developed with the idea that lights should be able to do more than just turn on and off, The Kick has tons of functions. First up, everything from the color to the brightness to the color temperature can be adjusted remotely from the app. The app has a full range of colors, animated lights, and built-in video effects. But here's what makes it really stand out - within the app, you can pick any specific light source – let’s say in a youtube video - and the Kick will replicate that light. It stores that light source for later use so you can build up a gallery of different options. Most people use it handheld but it can be fitted to a tripod. And no need to worry about it dying on you because the battery can last up to a day depending on use and can be recharged by battery or USB. There's also a diffuser for soft light effects. The app, which is called Kick Light, is free with your purchase of The Kick. You can pick up The Kick for $179 and the diffuser for only $59 at RiftLabs.com
