AppWatch Review

For many of us, waking up in the morning involves a look at the weather.  We get our weather from the news or by simply asking our phones. But there are plenty of people out there who require more in-depth weather information. Whether to satisfy their curiosity, their livelihood depends on it, they live in areas frequently affected by severe weather, or because weather fascinates them. Those individuals need to know the what, when, where, and why of severe weather patterns and forecasts. This app is a perfect for those aforementioned “weather nerds” out there. It's called Storm and it was created by Weather Underground. While it does not quite target the laymen, it is a brand new app designed to satiate all your weather reporting needs.

With its high definition radar, it will show you past weather reports and what is headed your way. With advanced storm cell tracking and real-time severe weather alerts you can stay on top of impending weather, track weather for the day, or even up to ten days out. There is additional data provided including detailed analysis of storms. With Storm you can observe the strength rating, speed, direction, the populated cities in its path, windstream animations and much more. You can also have the application alert you about impending weather situations in your radius via push notifications or in-app alerts.

It is a very powerful and in depth storm tracking app that you should definitely check out. You can download the Storm app for free on iOS devices within the appstore today.
